The PTAB accepted petitioner’s evidence of that the same steps were performed by pharmacists in order to determine whether a prescription request was valid as evidence that the claims were directed to an abstract idea, as a known business practice pre-dating the Internet. The PTAB also accepted evidence from petitioner that showed internet-related limitations were all in the prior art.
